SCL Spring Camp Mattstedt 2023 –

Welcome to the registration page for the Spring Camp of the Swingconnection Leipzig in Mattstedt 2023!

This year we will have a long spring, because the Spring Camp will take place shortly before the calendrical end of spring from 15.06. - 18.06.2023. On the one hand that means a long time to wait, on the other hand it will most likely be warmer and camping and swimming may be more appealing.

The workshop can be held in a larger group again this year. We ask for the interests when booking and then put together a colorful program. There will be classes of different levels in Lindy Hop, Balboa, possibly Shag, Blues and Solo Jazz. If you are interested in giving a lesson yourself, please contact us at info@swingconnection-leipzig.com. It does not have to be a rigid swing dance lesson.

In general, the weekend serves to try out dance together, to relax and to get to know each other. There is very good meatless food, a meadow for camping, a river for swimming.

In the evening there will be cozy parties in the barn, if there is enough interest we will try to find a band. After that the night can end with the sound of the Ilm river.

Organizational information:

Registration can be done individually or in pairs. The prices shown (and paid) here are for the workshop part only. Accommodation and food costs have to be paid in cash on site. There are no ATMs in town. We will have meatless meals throughout the weekend. If you do not want to sleep on a mattress or camp, you have the option of choosing a bed in a room in the main house.

We offer bank transfer and PayPal as payment options. However, since PayPal causes higher costs for us, we ask you to pay by bank transfer if possible. Alternatively you can pay by direct debit.

We will provide you with further information about the schedule and the travel arrangements before the event.

We have a contingent of 5 places, for which we do not charge a fixed workshop fee, to support people who find it difficult to afford to attend. If there are any questions beyond that, get in touch at info@swingconnection-leipzig.com.
